We are offering a position in our Communications Department to manage all aspects of producing corporate content: conducting substantive editing on all materials, supervising graphics and layout work, and planning final dissemination strategies. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Content Production Manager will support management and staff to produce professional-grade, innovative reports, client deliverables, marketing materials and other content based on data and research.

Primary Responsibilities

Provides editorial guidance, scrutiny and expertise on all corporate documents, reports, proposals, web content and other output.
Ensures that graphics, art and other images are high-quality, properly reflect their underlying content and add value to the final product. Works with graphic and other outside collaborators on product design.
Provides proactive advice to management and staff on ways to present data-rich content textually, visually and graphically in ways that create impact for clients.
Manages protocols for multiple-manager reviews of reports.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors Degree with 5 years of experience (or Masters Degree with 3 years of experience) in content and editorial management.
Excellent, demonstrable editing skills in a business environment, editing reports of variously lengths, and preferably with online editing experience (blogs, etc.).
Ability to oversee design and production of high-quality final reports for a network of international offices.
Proven project management skills, ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
Pluses: Experience in an international setting; experience with research-based content; interest in/knowledge of international media and development issues.
